Just a quick question, the brother-in-law has ordered a new dash for his Mini30, it comes with three holes for gauges. Just wondering what gauges you'd put in?

I would be putting in Voltmeter anyway, would a vaccum gague be of any use & where would you use as a take-off on a 998cc engine?

    Thanks
    Seán

Gauges that move about a bit are nice. How about small central clock, vacuum gauge and voltmeter?

For the vacuum gauge not sure where'd you get the takeoff... on a car I had with the A series engine the vacum takeoff was t-ed from a different pipe off the inlet manifold, though I can't recall the exact setup.

So a Vaccum, Oil Pressure & VoltMeter are the way to go? Or should I ditch the Vaccum for a Clock?
