Can't people read the charter or use a bit of common sense?

(Would be ironic if this thread was locked!)

    What's your point?

It's irritating when half the threads are locked. Especially when the locked threads are nothing but crap.

Yes it would. It's not expected that the thread will be locked because it breaks no rules. And if it did get locked, not only would it be expected, but the thread would become one of the threads that I was complaining about. That's irony.

I never new there was such support for locked threads. Perhaps we should have a sub-forum for it?

I always read the locked threads first!

Log on, see locked threads, look for the juicey row, am disappoint.

Still do it every time though!

    Excellent plan for some mod-trolling,

Step 1: Discussion about joan burton's nipples or somesuch
    Step 2: Lock thread
    Step 3: ????
    Step 4: vincent-browne-troll.jpg

I'm lazy and hate having to click the link for page 2 of the forum. Thought that was obvious!

Boards.ie is an ok forum. The problem with it is the Moderators. There is absolutely no need for the amount of locked threads, especially in After Hours. They should apply some level of cop on. I have opened locked threads in here and thought, hmm good topic for AH, and then some clueless mod comes in and locks it because it is slightly off topic. There is no topic in AH. Stop ruining the forum and enjoy the banter.
