Does anybody know a rough figure of how many of the 18,000 odd student and staff connect to the wireless network in Trinity every day??

Just having a debate with someone about this...

Maybe someone from TCD IS is reading and can give an estimate?

There are about 25000 people registered to user the network, not sure of the wireless breakdown.

Back in 08/09 there were 20,000 registered, 650 wireless access points, and 5000 using the wirelesss network. Id say the wireless figure has grown quite a lot since then though

You also have to account for people connected twice. Its possible to connect mobiles devices as well as laptops.
