Check out the Yongnuo RF-602 on eBay. Very cheap and quality is pretty good.

EDIT; Forget that, it's not TTL compatible! :o

Pocketwizard Flex system or Radiopopper are the only ones to use ETTL, I have the Pocketwizards and they have turned out not so good. Lots of problems but this is what happens if you early adopt..

I use cheap no name triggers I got for €18 Inc postage on eBay. No ttl. Bit setting a flash manually is so simple these days I don't feel the need for it. I've tested firing from another room, indoor, outdoor up to about 30 feet and no mis fires yet.

I'm using flashwave v2's, v3s are out now IIRC.. no TTL but I find them excellent, really compact and have everything you could want on them.

Elinchrom Skyports which I find are very good.

I use Cactus v4s from gadgetinfinity.com. They work very reliably for me, with the exception that they will sometimes fire spontaneously in a crowded area - which I suspect may be due to mobile phone interference, but don't know. No E-TTL, so you will need a flash you can adjust manually...

I just use the Commander System in the Camera/Flash. Works fine.

Cactus V2S, that was the cheapest I could get that time. 95% reliable - enough for me. Used mostly in the studio to trigger big lights.

Cagey linked me to the ones he bought before, and I picked them up.

No problems yet (have had them for two or three months). They don't see much use though.

Would either of ye link that for me please? I'm in the market but on the tightest of budgits and at a push could probably find that price.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Will do, on the phone here at the moment but I'll check my eBay history later and link the right ones ;)

Ok, back at the pc: ebay only holds your history for the last 60 days, but these are the same as the ones I got, might just be a different seller [though it seems to work out to the €18 I paid total, inc the postage:

I got mine within a week. You get the trigger plus 2 receivers plus batteries to get you going. For the price, you really have nothing to lose. I have mine about 6mths now and never had a problem, and I've only changed batteries once! :)

Hey Keith. I'm thinking about getting a few of these. Are you saying the issues and problems you are having with them are fixed with later releases?
