Ishuffle Washing machine interface

    I've now done it for the third time and it appears that the jig is up!

    First two times it eventually came round and started to work in perfectly, it took it's time, mind.

    The battery would not last heads and the headphones toggle interface would sometimes be a bit squirrelly but it rectified itself and played like it was brand new.


    Now the third and possibly final time the shuffle keeps it's charge but the interface is totally non-responsive. When I plug it into the computer it's sync's with Itunes and you can transfer music.

    I have a few questions:

    have any of you ever done likewise and any hints or tips to see if I can salvage the player?

    If you are playing music off the shuffle's music folder, is it music stored on the shuffle or on the computer hard drive?

    In fairness the Ishuffle is a testament to good build quality. The owner is the weak link!
