AppleCare Express Replacement Service (ERS) question!

    I know the question have been asked lots of times, i still have few question if anyone can answer.
    My home button is giving trouble so i am thinking to go through replacement.

    1) When Apple send me replacement phone and package, do i have to send the old phone straight back or can send it day after?
    2)If i can send day after how do i arrange UPS etc pickup?

    You've 10 days to get it back to them. It only takes 2-3 days for UPS to get it to them from Ireland.

    You ring UPS to arrange collection so it's pretty flexible.

    I had no problems with it back in December

    You don't even have to ring UPS if you don't want to. You can arrange a pickup through their website

    Thanks did you have Home button problem too?
    I am not sure Internet forums are full of Home button problems and all the problems were solved with replacement.

    No I had a sound problem. They sent out a replacement iPhone within 10 days

    Thanks all,
    Just talked to them, sending a replacement in 2-3 working days. Hope that fix the problem.

    Does anyone know, How much apple hold on credit card, they hold €670 on me, Doesn't bother me as it is only hold but i though it was €400 something.

    they hold what they feel is the value of the device they have sent you for instance in november i received a refurbished 16gb 3gs and they had a hold of 437euro in my credit card as they said that was the value of it

    Mods should there be a sticky on apple care? Info on how it works shipping not posting the ups bag as I heard a few times, what options are available the box option credit card option etc just a thought.

    So i got my replacement fine and working perfectly since.
    Other problem and Internet is full of this, my replacement iphone has yellow tint on the screen compare to Cool blue white tint on original phone, After reading a lot on-line seems like apple have diff LCD manufactures, and that's common problem with replacement phone.
    I am not going to replace it again but just wondering did anyone have same problem, what can be done and does yellow tint fades away?
