    Hi folks,

I am nearing the end of a PhD in Information Systems (investigating new forms of innovation and knowledge creation in virtual worlds) and I am very keen work as a post doc in this country or any other.

    I would like to know
    - where I can find out about post docs in my field
    - what the recruitment process involves (e.g. what is being looked for; what should I be looking for; typical time frame; typical salary; typical term of contract etc)

In particular, I am looking to work abroad. Preferably somewhere sunny. Probably Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand.

Apologies in advance if a similar thread already exists, I am new to the forum.

    With thanks,
    Logosohl
