Not that I'm aware of. But keep an eye on the Classic Movies thread.

The IFI does so occasionally, in seasons or just because of re-releases. For example, The Big Sleep has been restored by the BFI and is being brought back for a week from this Friday.

The BFI site details more future releases e.g. the IFI hasn't released their April schedule yet, but the BFI says they'll be getting Bertolucci's Before The Revolution soon and Battleship Potemkin at the end of April. Yes, I know they're not exactly Hollywood films ..!

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Thanks for the tips. Sounds great, yeah I've seen a movie in the IFI its a really nice theatre. I also found this great one on the 2nd of April and I get to dress up for it Jane Russell tribute. http://www.filmfataleevents.blogspot.com Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is one of my favourite oldies, seems they showed Some Like It Hot before that. Shame I wasnt here in time. But i'll definately check it out this time around.

The Film Fatale night is amazing...I was at that last night in the Sugar Club for Some Like It Hot. I would also recommend a trip to shebeen chic, they do a film night every Tuesday night of Irish movies and others. If you have only just arrived its a good place to check out anyway. http://www.facebook.com/lemamurphy#!/shebeenflick
