    Hi guys,

I'm going to be purchasing a new laptop from Dell and noticed that for 40 quid I can get an
Internal DVB-T TvTuner included. I'm not sure how this would work, if at all. What stations would I be able to receive?

The digital channels have only become live recently.. I bought a hybrid card (both analog and digital), and had been running on analog for about two years.. Did a scan last week and found these channels... This is the list of digital channels that are free to air through Saorview...

I only looked them up last week, and I started a thread here about it... you might some more help on this...

well you can get an external one on ebay for about 10 euro. it's handy for recording programmes onto your hard - drive -> that's what I use it for.

Well definitely be getting that so, I think the extra few quid to have it internal as well makes it worth it. Thanks for the info guys.

just a thought - if you're not in Dublin you may not get a good signal on your laptop and may need some sort of external aerial.

OK, cheers for the heads up. I'm from Cork City, do you reckon the signal will be bad down here?
