Significant further information - planning

we have applied for planning to retain a changed window size to front of dwelling. Council have come back seeking initial elevations as originally approved and giving advice note that if the remainder of the elevations are not as approved that we should submit retention for all that.
Now there are some minor details that have only come to light now like the roof over a bay window being slightly different to original planning grant. We therefore wish to retain this as the planners must clearly be referring to this.

My question, - Can we simply do this by stating to the planners that we wish to retain this feature also and advertise it as significant further info or do we need to start with a new application.

Speak to the planner dealing with your file. There shouldn't be any issue, as I dealt with similar issues in the past by re-advertising and paying the appropriate fee (if required) under the one application.

Do you just basically state when replying to the planners that we now wish to retain whatever, enclose additional fee (if applicable) and enclose newspaper ad & site notice?

THe significant further info advert & site notice doesnt really refer to what the additions are - just the fact that this significant further info has been submitted - Is that correct?

Yes, however do not advertise any significant further information until the planning office deem the information to be "significant" otherwise the ad may have predated the determination and may not be considered for the works you want covered.

Contact the planners and be guided by them.
