Some great first round matches to look forward to such as the all Welsh battle between Williams and Day.

John Higgins against Steve Lee and O'Sullivan against the 'spaceman' Dale should also be great viewing.

But what a great match to start the tounament with defending champ Neil Robertson playing Judd Trump.

If there's such a thing as an easy half of the draw it's the top half, if Robertson can find some form he may find himself in a second consecutive final whereas the bottom half is a different story, we could have a couple of great matches during the second week such as a Higgins v O'Sullivan quarter mind you Shaun Murphy might have a say in that! Also a possible Williams v Allen quarter final as well, hold on to your hats with that one!!!!

I know where I will be on saturday the 16th at 10am, in my favourite armchair. Infact I probably won't leave it too often for the 17 days. :)

Some great first round ties there.

The red button is a dangerous thing when Sheffield is on. Hours can slip by, and her indoors is none too pleased:D.

Mark Allen has a tough last 32 match with Matthew Stevens.

Dave Harold has some consistency doesn't he. He's really stayed the course in his career.

Some very interesting ties there, ahhh no matter how much extra snooker weve been treated to this season, theres nothin like the claustraphobic tension of the crucible. :pac:
