Electric Shower stopped working

    Hi,

last week my Triton T90 electric shower stopped automatically while it was running. I found that MCB was tripped but when I tried to switch MCB on it tripped again immediately. I also found that there is no power in the "cord switch" of the electric shower. When I pulled the cord I didn't hear any 'click' sound, which indicate that switch in turned on or off. Any suggestions how can I get it fixed ?

If the shower is tripping the power to the pull chord goes as well so there would not be power.

TBH i would get an electrician but if your confident with electrics then i would start by opening the pullchord switch and then the shower and looking for sighns of tripping.

The lovely thing about a T90 is it generally does not stop that quickly without sometings serious like arcing in the switch(not common) or water in the shower unit( the buring and water will be visable)

obv make sure the power is off when inspecting.
