Hi Gents.. Looking for some advice about getting a trainer..

I am considering getting one because of the ungodly hours I work and when the bad weather comes back in the winter..

    Cheers Guys.

Rollers. Good for warming up for a race.

Trainer good for winter training I reckon.

Try to have a go on both types before you buy. I bought rollers initially but did not like them, I thought I had to concentrate too hard to maintain ballance. I sold the rollers and bought a turbo trainer which suits my needs much better.

just buy both, I did, you get a different workout from each, and in the depths of Winter it's nice to have a bit of variety. Rollers need a bit more concentration, and definitely help with your pedalling, with a turbo , you can get a bit more intense, with sprint drills, as you can with a rollers, if you get, or modify to freemotion
