There doesn't seem to be a thread opened on this, which was on in Carrick on Suir on Paddy's Day. My garmin stats are here.

I was in the A4 race and I think it was a two minute handicap we had on the A3s. They caught us at the end of the first lap and there was a massive bunch finish at the end and I was somewhere in the middle of it.

This use to be three laps and it's a pity it was cut back to two, the third lap was sorely missed. I believe Carrick Wheelers have to do this due to distance restrictions imposed by Cycling Ireland on A4 cyclists. Perhaps they could consider doing them seperately if possible but I appreciate this take more resources to do.

Once again, a very well organised event by Carrick and it was nice to back in the sunny south east after the siberia type weather experience last wkd. :D

I was in A4 as well and we could have stayed away from the A3's if everyone contributed a bit more at the front. Carrick wheelers organised a great event but you're right, the distance was too short. One more lap would have been ideal

I was helping out as motorcycle marshall on the A3/A4 race and I must say it was an impressive sight in my mirrors on the N24 heading back into Carrick on the last lap.

The bunch was taking up pretty much all the road but thankfully what traffic there was was being fairly co-operative.

The run from Glenbower to the Killheffernan Roundabout though was scary as the road just didn't seem wide enough!
