    Hi there,

I have a great idea for an iPhone app. What tools do I need to make this? Can I do it myself or is a programmer required?

You need a Mac with Xcode, a 80 euro subscription fee to Apple to host your app on the App store , and knowledge of Objective C and the Cocoa Framework.

Heres a good place to start http://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action

There are other ways to develop apps without huge knowledge of the Objective C language but thats the official way and the way if you want to create an app thats anyway more than basic.
