Does anyone know is there any tax relief for paying back loans taken out to study? I have quite a substantial loan which is a couple of years old at this point but wondering is there any aid at all in the tax system with repayment.
    Thanks

    Hey,

Unfortunately there is no tax relief available for repaying such a loan. Did you claim the tax relief on the tuition element of your fees? If no and it was less than 4 years ago, you will be entitled to tax relief on this. The refund will depend on your earnings in that year.
