Can't believe there is no thread on this, anyway good final for tonight - Nadal Djokovic.

Djokovic looking really impressive this tournament and year - undefeated in 2011.

Just took the no. 2 spot from Federer after beating him in the semis.

Nadal struggling along - won the quarter final against Karlovic 9-7 in the
3rd set tiebreak - beat a tired Del Potro in the semis, so Djokovic I think should be the deserved winner - no doubt Nadal will do his usual and win though - he is too mentally strong.

The final has just started. Nadal could be in for a trouncing if both men's form from the rest of the tournament continues.

Djokovic was superb tonight. Best player in the world at the moment. Luckily for Nadal the clay season is just around the corner so he'll have a chance to pull ahead of Novak in the rankings again. Should ensure he'll finish the season as numero uno again.

F*cking delighted for Novak, he is as mentioned the best player in the world right now - great run, unbeaten in 2011, and 20 straight match wins.

Nadal still well number 1, but Djokovic will be confident he can overhaul that target!!

I agree, Djoker will overtake Nadal as number 1 this year.

The guy is on top form (18-0 for 2011!) and I'm delighted for him.

I can see Djokovic in 2 Slam finals this year at least

Excellent win for Djokovic. I am really impressed with Novak this year. He has matured on so many levels and within a short space of time. That Davis Cup win must have ignited something in him!

Gone is the kid who won Aussie Open '08 by beating balls back and running everything down. He has tactics and skills on the court that he hadn't before. His 20-0 record so far further illustrates how excellent he is, esp. when you think he defeated the 2 top players of the past decade to get there.

I think both Federer and Nadal have now taken notice that Nole is on fire and his confidence will be sky-high. Federer will be out to claim back the Number 2 spot from him asap. Nadal will be wary of Djokovic quickly coming up behind him in the rankings. And take into account that he is the youngest of the top 3, he's got more years left in him than Rafa and Roger.

Quite possibly a contender at the remaining GS tournaments. And perhaps the next Number 1...

It'll take a lot to stop Djokovic this year...unless he gets injured! Touch wood that doesn't happen though.

    2011.....looking great!!:D:cool:
