    Hi,

Just wondering instead of paying VF a tenner a month to tether my iPad from my iphone can I instead buy the myfi app and use that? Is it true that vf won't be able to tell that I'm tethering when using that?

    Cheers

If they REALLY want to they can tell you're tethering using MyWi, but they haven't bothered with it yet. Tether away.

Apparently AT&T are cracking down on this in the states somehow. The alternative is pay vf a tenner, or move to three who let you use data for whatever you want. For the time being tho the mywi app is working grand.

Works perfectly well on Meteor also who don't seem to notice/care.

Does the personal hotspot not allow this? Obv it would mean un jailbreaking, but would be worth it IMO.
