Just looking for opinions as to whether or not a black suit with kinda taupe coloured tie works? It's for a wedding to help the groomsmen blend in a bit with the groom who will be in a brown suit. Thanks :)

Black and taupe is a classy combo on girls but i've not seen it combined in a suit/tie situation but i'm sure it'll be nice too!!

on an aside, and of course everyones wedding is personal to themselves and their tastes.... but groom in a brown suit and groomsmen in black?? each to their own and all that! :)

Thanks for that! I didn't realise it was a classic, quite proud of myself for thinking of it now :)
I know it's not traditional but not much about the colour scheme is for our wedding. Groom wants to wear his suit afterwards and wanted brown cos it's different to suits he already has. Black is the easiest for rental and men who don't wear suits often. As a by the by, bm's are pink, cake is rainbow, invites were green...maybe I should have said colour scheme was non-existent! Still want men to look good though :D
