    Hi all,

We have like most houses an oil burner heating our water, the underfloor and the rad's upstairs.
We it be better to have all three water, underfloor and upstairs on at the same time rather than them coming on at different times or the day.

Maybe oil burners dont work like this but if I have the oild burner heating the water, would the same flame help heat the underfloor if I have it on at the same time?

It depends on the design of the heating/DHW system. And -off course - on it's usage.

How is set now and what type of boiler/distribution/controls are used ?

i have it set now for the water to come for the same time as the underfloor heating and then the water comes on for a boost at night when the rad's get a boost upstaris.

we have a electronic controls in the utility with temp in each rooms downstairs. the rads is set to 2 of 3 upstairs.

I wouldnt think we have the heating on very much but maybe running water and underfloor at the same time then it may be more efficient!
