I bought a few myself from this Amazon seller the other day, but wanted to share this with you, he's based in the US and has acquired a large amount of shirts (in various designs, colours and sizes) from around 1999/2000

They're varied from artists like The Brood, Ministry of Darkness, Big Show, Chris Jericho, Edge and Christian, Test, Chris Benoit, Tazz, Eddie Guerrero, The Rock and so on

They're all brand new and I can't wait to get mine in the post (I bought one of the Chris Jericho shirt's in WWF New York in 2001 and just found it here again)

Just follow the link, I believe this is the best search result to find most of his material but you will see straight away.

This is not spam, I don't work for this guy, know who he is or really care how much business he does - just letting you guys know because I know how hard some of these designs would be to find

If they are coming from america one would assume that an american large would be our x-large?

I would say so, yes, some of these shirts are pretty big - current WWE official shirts go up to 3XL anyway
