If you can get 140grain in Hornady go for it.
Hornady were €20 a box cheaper at the time

I was paying over €58 a box of Norma :eek:
    That was 2007 mind.
    Prices may have dropped since.

    Try James McBride in Athlone

i was using 140 grain federal sp last season and although there was nothing wrong with them i moved to the norma 120gr ballistic tip this and find them awsome on deer and mr fox. every fallow i shot this season droped on the spot. my rifle is a sako 75 hunter 22" barrell. got my normas of a guy in waterford, near the tramore road, forget his name, 45euro a box. 051844314.

I'm currently using 140gr Federal Fusion, 3/4" at 100 yds. Tried the Hornady's, worked well but couldnt get steady supply locally.

JOhn KIrwan at Lakeland Shooting outside Mullingar had Fusions for €35, Remington for €32, but if you can get 120gr Normas for €40 def worth a try.

Basically a case of get a few and see what suits :)

Norma 120g ballistic tip are a great round, I also found the 140g federal fusion good but I felt they over penetrated on small deer. Where are you based? I am moved from 6.5 to 308(when eventually my licence comes through) if ur based anyway local I will give you a few norma's,and fusions to try that I have left over.
