    Hi,
We have a 1.5 year old boy. We were thinking of going on hols in the south of England / Cornwall. Looking for somewhere family friendly. A nice cottage and near nice walks, playgrounds etc.

Beech, swimming pool aren't a must since the nipper is only 1.5.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Cheers

    Crylla Valley

I stayed here for a week last year with my 18month old, fantastic spot at the gateway to Cornwall .. its a bit of a drive to beaches but well worth it.

Clean, comfy and quite enough for a small toddler. Nice pub a couple of minutes walk away, saltash is a reasonable town a couple of minutes away.

    Cornwall is a wonderful place.

The drive from Hollyhead is a bit much to do in one day for a 18 month old .. so I would suggest stopping off half way for a night.

Take a look at Swanage in Dorset, very family friendly. In fact, anywhere between Poole and Weymouth is very nice.

You have places like the Bovingdon tank museum, monkey world and lulworth cove to visit, as well as the new forest on your doorstep.

Loads of good campsite as well if that's your bag.
