I've heard of a place in Dublin, in one of the basements in the city, that do a wide variety of teas where you sit on cushions as opposed to seats.

Anyone heard of this place or any where like it around Dublin?
I've just recently gotten into trying new teas and I'd love to visit a place like this.

If anyone has any info, please let me know.
    Thanks. :)

That sounds like it could be nice.

What kind of teas do they offer there?
I'm really into trying traditional Chinese and Japanese teas, I've been reading about compressed teas, they seem like winners if I can find any around Dublin.

I'd say thats Wall and Keogh, the one on Richmond Street, opposite the George Bernard Shaw pub, near Raw gym, before you get to Rathmines bridge.

I've been in there and had some weirdy named tea, which was nice. They dont really do food much, but the teas are all presented in glass jars, and you have to sniff the lid to get a scent of what the tea is like. Its a nice enough place. Aparently the coffee is really good too. Not sure about the coushin thing as I sat upstairs, but Id say thats it.:)

Think there is a tea place like this along the north side of the quays close to the Ha'penny bridge?. I've passed by it, its in a basement, know nothing more about it.

Yeah that's the Tea Garden mentioned above. It's really nice, bit pricey but a lovely experience. There's loads of different areas. It's a real break away from the city, when you go back outside it's like coming out of the cinema, you know, that sort of "oh yeah I forgot I'm in the middle of town" feeling. Lots of choice, I'd recommend going with a few friends. If you go in and up the small flight of stairs down and to the right, there's partitioned areas where you sit on cushions and you can take your shoes off and relax. There's also normal seats and a sofa type area.

Cheers every one, Tea Garden definitely sounds like the right place and I'll check out Wall and Keogh too, that sounds awesome.
Really glad you could help me. :)

Yep, sounds like the Tea Garden & Also, near the Mater Hospital is a place called on Berkeley Rd, which is nicer, in my opinion
