Cork-temp swap 70-200 for a longer lens?

    Hi everyone, I am going to an event in July (MotoGP) where I know I will want a long lens. I have a 70-200f/2.8 non-IS & wondering is there anybody out there with a 100-400mm or maybe a sigma 50-500 that would like to swap for a few days?

    Me again,
    I am traveling to UK MotoGP on weekend of June 11/12.

    I am looking to rent/borrow a canon fit 400mm-capable lens
    ( IS doesnt matter, f/5.6 is fine), zoom or prime.

    Or a 300mm f/4 with a 1.4x teleconverter is good, too.


    I would be happy to temporarily swap my 70-200 f/2.8 non-IS for the weekend (or for some other mutually agreed time)

    - Your lens will be insured
    - I am happy to pay a refundable deposit
    - It will be in my own possession at all times & will be well looked after
    - Won't be used if it is raining

    Have looked at renting from UK rental companies, but as I live in Cork & do not have a UK shipping address this is either expensive, complicated, impossible, or some combination of the 3.

    Any advice is welcome also.
