Could anyone recommend a shop that sells basic cardigans, just ones like boyfriend cardigans and short v-neck ones? My budget would be about €30 and it would be in Cork City I'd be shopping.

    Thanks in advance!

Check the high street, Pennys, River Island, H&M, Topshop, Zara and the like they'll all have them :D.

I've been looking at all the high street stores but very few have just simple cardigans, I just want some plain coloured ones with no details.

I'll have a look in those stores anyway, thanks :)

Pennys should serve you well, and it wouldn't hurt to pop into the mens section :D.

Id try Penneys and Dunnes. I know Awear have short plain ones like this in a good few colours for €20:

I don't like Penneys knitwear, it never fits right, I'd spend the extra 3 or 4 euro and head to H&M, lovely fit and very reasonable, most stuff under €20.

Zara has the best basic knitwear on the high street, in my opinion. Warehouse has good stuff but it tends to have a quirk, and well, Warehouse prices are a bit outrageous for some items.

Yeah I agree Penny's knitwear is very hit and miss, i have a jumper I got there last August for 13 euro and it's still in perfect condition, whereas I bought a jumper there at Christmas that lost all it's shape after 1 wash

Yeah I think I'll try Zara, they have some lovely stuff on their website and I'd say it would be fairly high quality.

If you want very basic knitwear Dunnes Stores is worth a look. You can pick up basics quite cheap.

+1 for Zara absolutely great quality knitwear, A wear is good, Dunnes and H&m have reasonable priced ones which are good for the price.
