the prisons are overcrowded as it is - considering most people found guilty of something usually have more than one offence before the court at any one time, the logistics make it pretty much impossible!!!

It maybe a little extreme but the criminal justice system clearly isn't working in it's present form. In my most humble opinion it's down to one major flaw - there simply are not enough prison spaces. Everything else stems from there. The Gardaí are bursting the courts with defendants and the courts are bursting the cells with prisoners.

As for three strikes and you're out? I guess it depends on your definition of "strike" and "out".

Sorry the bottle bank site is in ringsend down at the docks its a big site bought by developers that has lost its value , its a massive area of scrub land down at the docks . it would be perfect as a big camp to put these low lifes in !!! creating jobs aswell for people to keep them in there
