We need to find shops selling "plus size" clothes for women (around size 30) in or within 30 miles range of Cork City.

Not interested in online shops (she needs to try on the clothes).
We hope there is a shop out there which is not too expensive.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Evans on patrick street in the city do up to a size 38 or something near that. Pretty expensive though maybe 100 euro for an outfit

Evans on Patricks Street, across from Pennies, as suggested above. Again I would say it is expensive, definately looking around €60-€100 euro for an outfit. You are not going to find anything really fashionable if that is what you are looking for. Not really suitable for a younger woman if you ask me!

I am in there at least once a week/fortnight because my mom is plus size. Here is what I can tell you from experience:
    • Sizes up to 32
    • Shoe sizes up to 10 with wide and extra wide widths. This is a godsend but you might not find a style you like.
    • Good bra selection. Make sure to get fitted! Plus sized tights as well. Grab your size if they are there, they run out fast!
    • The women working in there are super helpful. Don't be afraid to ask for anything!
    • The bracelets, rings, necklaces, belts, scarves are larger/longer which is great. They have a special plus size line.
    • They do a 2 for €30 jeans offer
The reason I know so much about that particular store is because it is basically the only store that caters for the plus sized lady in cork city (open for correction)!

Dorothy Perkins which is upstairs in Evans goes to a 26. As does a line available in New Look.

    Hope this helps!
