    Hello all.

This bloody Party Poker thing is coming up when I access Safari. I've blocked pop-ups in the menue, preferences, etc, but it still shows up.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Freddie.

Safari's popup blocker is pretty good, but some of them will still get by it. Maybe try using an adblocker application or extension.

You usually get these links on megavideo and the likes - harmless really. They can be very hard to block, pretty much the only ads that get through on my laptop including flash and most other ads/popups.

Some websites set up scripts that only make the popup appear in the background and only when you click something else, so normal popup blockers such as you get in Safari or Chrome cannot block them.
