Redundancy on Part time

    Hi

    Ive worked for 5 years on full time in a company then switched myself to part time for the last six months.

    If this company closes down would i get redundancy as a full timer for 5 years plus 6 months part time or part time for 5 1/2 years?

    Mix of both, if I remember correctly (this is done from memory so please verify with Nera or similar organization). The redundancy salary base would be based on your average salary for the last 15 months or something along those lines that is based for your redundancy amount.

    How ever if you note to your employer on a regular basis that you wish to return to full time ASAP they have to give you redundancy based on your full time salary.
