    anyone got any suggestions for a nice,reasonably-priced,non-smoking,no pets,child-friendly, house/ holiday village that we can rent here in ireland during august?south-west would NOT work out-TOO FAR!anywhere else will be considered.Dont want to end up paying a fortune for the week but would like somewhere nice all the same!thanks....

    I presume when you say child friendly you have a few children :). We went with surfholidays.ie to Portugal and it worked out very well. They do have holiday homes in Lahinch also, we have not stayed in them so I cannot recommend them but we are thinking about it this year
