    but I just did ...

Anyway, in true Grand National fashion, I have no idea who will win, but liked the initials of "Some Other Dude" so put my money on him

    What's the prize?

Haussler for me.He wants it the most.
Thor and the rest will work for him here.
Roubaix is Hushovds stated aim this year so he'll get his day there.

    What a great race.

Pretty haphazard commentary on Eurosport -
about 2k from the line before they realize Matt Goss is in the front group - all talk about Petacchi, Haussler, O'Grady and ...well everyone except the guy who was definitely going to win it once he made it over the Poggio.

Pity he's not in a different team - we need more sprinting teams for the GTs

    Sadly that's to be expected.

Only read your post tonight. Nice work el tonto and thanks. My pick was Pozzato but again as you mentioned too much wheel sucking. For such a strong finisher he really has to reassess his tactics if he is to show his true potential.
Once Goss made it over the Poggio there was only going to be one winner. In saying that Cancellara was impressive in the sprint. Gilbert used too much energy in crossing the gap to Nibali earlier but it was Goss who closed Gilbert and Pozzato down on his own and a deserving winner without doubt.
I was really impressed with Scarponi's ride and Ballan is really coming back to form for the April races.
    Great racing :)
