petrol on diesel car?

    put 14lts of petrol on D4d engine any suggestions? diesel maybe 15lts left. Just notice when filling the petrol so car engine never turn on then, just rang a friend to tow me back home. Tomorrow We will try to fix it.
    any suggestion?

    There are others on here that will give you a more comprehensive answer but do not turn the engine on until it's been sorted. It can depend on the car and the engine how well it might bear up but either way if you haven't turned it over then from what I've read here, most likely you'll only need it drained.

    My advice is call a mechanic first thing tomorrow and hope they'll do something with it, otherwise first thing Monday.

    You should be able to drain the mix of fuel from your tank and you should be fine. You were right to tow it.

    nope, never turn on the engine coz I know the risk, just tow the car back home then syphon the gas the next day and re fill with good clean diesel.
