    Hi.
As mentioned by a few here house prices must return to 2003 levels etc., is there any way to check what prices properties were fetching back then, and even earlier. I've also come across a mention of 1998 levels and add on yearly inflation from then to calculate true prices, any records available to show the inflation since plus those early house prices ?

Well the prices might have dropped and may very well be tempting, but the interest rates are higher, and not to mention how hard it is to get a loan thesedays.

Try www.cso.ie or ERSI or www.environ.ie
