    Hi all

I'm looking for a foundation brush that I've seen professionals use when I'm having my make up done but have never seen for sale. It basically looks like a blusher brush so its a lot thicker with more bristles. Seems a lot easier for applying liquid foundation.

    Anyone seen anything like this?

I think what you're taking about is a stippling brush

I haven't seen many around in places like Boots or anything, although I think Ruby and Millie might do one. I'd say you'd find a good selection of higher end ones in Brown Thomas, I know Mac definitely do one.

Its the Mac 187 if you're going for that version, I have that one but I've heard that there are cheaper stippling brushes that are quite good as well.

I have this Mac brush but don't find it great tbh, it loses alot of hairs. I have seen a similar one in Inglot (Dundrum & Liffey Vally). I havn't used that exact brush but the Inglot brushes I do have are good quality and great value compared to the likes of Mac.

The first 2 times I used the Mac one I was really annoyed with the amount of hairs coming off it but once I washed it for the first time it was perfect afterwards :)
