Edision argus mini 2in1 and Humax Foxsat, can I do this ?

I would be grateful for any advice as to whether the following set up would work or any alternative suggestions.
I have an Edision argus mini 2in1 with one cable from my dish and one cable from an aerial in the attic as inputs. This works fine and I'm pleased wth it except for the limited recording facilities.
I was thinking of getting a Humax Foxsat HDR 500 GB which could use the 2 feeds I have from my old sky plus set up and allow me to record one channel and watch another, however then I will have lost my DTT channels as my Tv does not have MPEG4.
Is it possible to use the Edision as well with just the attic aerial to get our digital channels and how would I connect the two. I only have one HDMI socket on my TV, could I use a HDMI splitter box ?
Also I have a quad LNB and am only using 2 feeds from it, could I at some stage take a third feed and put it into the sat input of the Edision and what would this allow me to do ?
Sorry for all the questions but as I'm sure you can gather I dont have much experience and am only learning as I go.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Yes you just bring in a third feed and the you can use the Edision and the Freesat HDR. An HDMI splitter/combiner will be needed, but a switchable one, so that you can alternate feeds as required.

Thanks for that. I think thats the road I'll go. The Humax freesat box seems to be good. I wonder does anyone know are there any issues with it ?
Also what of course would really suit me would be a combo freesat box with an extra tuner for our own terrestial channels, but there doesn't seem to be any such thing. Am I missing something or why is that ?

I own a Foxsat HDR great machine. There will likely never be a Freesat/DTT combo as there is just no market for one in the UK
