Whats the story with South East Radio?
I am in Wexford again for a long weekend and turned on yesterday evening to find South East Radio was off the air again. I tried a couple of times over the course of half an hour or so but then gave up and went to Today FM.I have listened for years and never noticed this before but I in the past few months I have tuned in quite a few times to find it broadcasting complete silence.
Not long back I heard it go off one day at around 9am and it still was not back on when I was heading back to Dublin at gone 7pm.
Surely this is not acceptable? Or are they in trouble?

Are you refering to Beat 102-103 or a different station , if its a different station then id say lack of listeners may be to blame , Beat brings in a young audience across the south east , very popular .

Since Clive Roylance was let go things have quickly spiralled downhill at Southeast. The current management haven't a clue what they are at and until they are replaced things will only get worse and worse.
