Well done to Rockwell, just about deserved it. An exciting games, particularly the finish, even if the quality wasn't the highest.

One of the more bizarre aspects of the game was that both sides were wearing almost identical kit. PBC in very dark purple/black stripes and Rockwell is darkish blue. Same togs & socks. Made the game very hard to watch and seemed to contribute to a number of 'intercepted' passes.

Well done to Munster branch who only charged a fiver in. Good value and a good day out.

Thats one of the things I hate most. I'm colourblind so I wouldn't have been able to tell who was who at all. If it did contribute to intercepted passes then the jersey colour alone played a part in the game which is ridiculous.

Sorry, don't mean to crash the thread, but perhaps someone who is more familiar with the Munster schools scene could help me with this; have Christians gone down the pan in rugby terms with the introduction of soccer, hurling, GAA football, and whatever you're having yourself to the official school sports? They certainly seem to have fallen off the pace in the last couple of years in rugby.

That's good to hear. On another note, how the hell are Glenstal putting out a team good enough for the latter stages of the senior cup? I thought there is under 200 students there, compared to say 1000 at CBC? Fair play to them.

Good coaches play a part, but as you say, a better crop of players than you'd expect with a selection pool that small. I'd dismiss it as a flash in the pan, but I've seen their Junior team quite a few times this season, and they've got some handy players too.
