    Hey!

I am hoping to travel to the Greek Islands this summer for an extended break away.

I am unable to fly so hence I gotta do it by sea and land.

I have no time limits on me. Hoping to take in the views of Europe on my way.

Basically looking for info on which might be the best route to travel. There are various ports to go threw but uncertain of where to begin planning!

I will be taking my car or maybe its better to rent..........not sure!

Any info or suggestions would be great. :)

Seat 61 is your friend for all things in overland travel. You have a few options really, through the Balkans or by taking a ferry from Italy to Greece. I only wish I had the time and money to take a trip like that!

Also try www.aferry.ie if you choose to take your car. I think you would be better to leave the car at home unless you have lots of money though, ferries can be so expensive once you add a car.
They have good route maps and you are able to book multiple trips in one go to make it easier to keep track of all those ferry trips:)
