Not quite the long deserved win but not far off...
Shaving the legs has done the trick ;)

I saw Shaun pass the bunch coming down the Summerhill road on the first lap, the group was motoring and he just seemed to cruise past, Cancellara like, on his way up to the front.

Would ya stop, some of us have to listen to him on the way home from these races and it's bad enough as it is!

Fair play Shaun, one third of the way to A2. You'll soon have the hang of it! That debut win is coming.

And well done to Darragh Mortimer who clinched his upgrade with his first win.

Thx lads very happy with it as a bit all over the place during the race. Felt sorry for the Bohermeen lad he puts in some work.
I'd a few digs but just wasn't happening for me and even coming to the finish was in two minds whether to go for it. However after getting rear-ended by poor old Lumen the adrenalin went up and I knew it was a long finish and there was no rush to get to the front. Did think I had the win for a milli second but had a gone a little early and could hear a whoosh as we got to the line and I tied up.

@ Anto my face is always like that in a race even when I'm not trying.

Best finish in any race ever for me so delighted. Hoping to line up Staro as my lead out man.

Don't want to derail Shaun's almost-victory thread. I'm scabby but fine, my bike is in need of a bit of a transplant, frame-wise. Shaun, for the record I hit you at 52kph, according to my Garmin. :pac:

Great result Shaun, you're really making your mark in A3 already! I was hoping Chris Reilly from Bohermeena was going to win it. He went so close but it was a big ask I guess.
