This life that we have been given is a fortunate one. Though all does not go as planned we must still push on to the greater future.

Back in 1976 I pondered where I would be today, and how the future is uncertain (Shawshank for a few years and car crash in 2008). I remember the moment clearly, as I sat on a bench outside a gas station in Arkansas. I'm not sure whether or not it was the straining heat that made me have these thought but it gave me perspective on life.

For a brief period I was a God, literally. However my faith in myself as God died as I could no longer stand the antics of Jim Carrey.

No I'm going off on a tangent here, but it may just be my age. These thing happen to a man of my age. The mind slows and the heart warms.

In your lives, fellow posters, what has been a defining, eye opening moment for you?

    -Morgan.

What's so wrong with the real you that you need to pretend to be someone else pretending to be someone else?

That never answered my question child. Man up and let it out, let it all out.

How do we know it's not Mr. Freeman?
And how do we know boards.ie isn't just one other person posting on multiple accounts for that matter.

I once knew a man called Andy Dufresne and he crawled through a sewer for 500 yards after breaking out of prison.

A good friend of mine is Andy. I spotted him on here as both Andy and Tim Robbins. Was good to see he doesn't spend him time peeling sweet potatoes any more.

This is what happens to society. You get ****ed up teenagers who cannot establish a life on there own and figure its easier to steel someone elses.

Try John Lennon my son. At least i get to listen to the blues.

Dont bother replying i wont be listening...

Nope, there's an ad for it on TV and you don't need glasses. If I had some spare cash I'd get one!

It must have been when a couple of guys who were up to no good started makin' trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air.

And then when they sold the house at the end too. Another big moment.
Taking a bullet for Carlton might be up there too, right?

'The stronger man' is also not a self-delusional fantasist.
