    I am thinking of buying a 4 year old Volkswagen Passat 1.9 TDI 105 (Diesel) with 65400 km on the clock-could any user of a similar car spec please let me know what the mpg for mixed urban/open road driving is for such a car & any other useful information would be appreciated as I know nothing about cars. Thanks

    Thank you for your reply-yes, a friend of mine says the same thing! I guess I have to be careful-maybe get the AA to check it out.
