Hi folks, not sure what I am feeling but this is a huge issue for me.

Worked for a large well known company for more than 11 years. So myself and another 50 odd get told we are being let go end of April.

Can handle this, not totally unexpected and in some way am happy enough to try something new after all this time.

Anyways, issue is myself and another 12 guys on my team turn up for work yesterday and we find that us and only us had been deleted from all the systems, no warning nothing.

We have all handed over our roles to the people who are taking our work on so there is nothing we could destroy or cause problems with, and I strongly add none of us would cause we know since January and would have done something by now if we were so inclined.

I think its the height of ignorance to be treated like this and then made hang around until the afternoon for a consultation to say we are all on garden leave until the redundancy date.

Most of us had a personal folder on the network where we had photos etc, a drive that was given to us by the company to use for what ever and then when they locked us out nobody could retrieve this information.

Feels like an unmerciful kick in the ass after a long service.

Anyone else been through this, how did you react?
