PW Draft Slammies 2011

Welcome all to the 2011 Boards.ie PW Draft Slammy Awards. Below are a list of categories which I will ask you to consider carefully and then PM me your votes. Of course the award for best roster goes to the winner. The draft slammies are now into their second year.

Voting will close on Friday 25th March at midnight and I will aim to have the results up that Sunday (27th). This will be bring the Draft season full circle so get your tuxedo dry-cleaned and doll up the wife. Attendance by invite only.

To make for a bit of fun I will be looking for acceptance speeches from the winners of the various awards. You will be informed before hand to prepare a few lines.

In the interest of fairness I will only accept votes from Draft participants but I would like to extend an invite to gimmick to cast a vote as well.

Break-out Writer of the year (For a first time drafter)

Best pick

Comic writer of the year (Funniest writer)

The 'Jim Ross Perpetual Slobberknocker' award (Match of the year)

Rivalry of the year

Tag Team of the year

Superstar of the year

Diva of the year

The LOL award (funniest moment)

The 'Jimmy Wang Yang' award for most underrated pick/dark horse

Not the one I voted for but yeah that should be in the reckoning. There were some great matches written up this year.

yeah id say all 20 are eligable for this, will try and vote later but as said in the other thread wouldent mind if there were a few more catagories, for instance best tag team is good but how about best tag feud/match, similarily we could have a best undercard feud/match etc then the slobberknocker award could be best overall (most likely a main event) as could the rivalry one (again most likely a mian event).

Question: Anyone have a list of who the first time writers are? <_< I know I am one (HINTHINTPEOPLEHINT <_<) but being a first time writer, I don't really know who else is...

As far as I know the first time drafters this year were Teamshadowclan, Diabhal Beag and thebostoncrab.

Sorry guys i've been so, so busy with college. Was sick for a bit and fell behind on everything. I'll try have the results up this week
