    I felt great when I got up this morning.
    Turned on the telly to watch the parade.
    Now I'm depressed listening to Cahill and his Back Dog, Dead Tiger, etc.
    Oh F?><*. I'm going for a walk.

    we get it Des.. ffs... He really is not suited to this sort of thing.. Aidan was good, Blá was Blá.. but I really that Kathryn Thomas was needed instead of Des.

    And it seemed more like Roddy Doyle Day to me, by the look of that parade... A skeleton as metaphor for the Irish economy.. A black dog... All that was needed was a coffin to represent every mortal's eventual demise, probably brought all the sooner for watching the parade..

    Yeah he was represented there alright

    I think it's a pretty good likeness.. they've even managed to capture his social ineptitude.. See the way he's tried to interact with Josephine Soap and her dog has gone for him...
