The Server Vote

With the apparent death of Arma we need a a game to host on our server.

I am in favour of keeping the server and paying for it as it gives us control of what we play be it Arma 2, Swat, Raven Shield or whatever game we want.

Afaik its a few quid to keep running, i would leave arma on it and play whatever we want on it when it suits, Mumble should always run on it.

I will make **** work but the YOMA thing is 1st to go IF we want mods and maps we find em and dload them.

Anyway Vote away, theres only 5 of us so wont be hard to sort out.

I want to keep it, I've no problem contributing, but I think our days with Gameservers.ie are numbered.

I've put a big effort into trying to get new players, tried it more than once, but I've always failed. Not sure how we get more players

I'd be willing to donate €50 towards the setup fees for a move to german host, can I get 2 others? After setup its only €49 pm, we could do much more with the box, its lots faster, possibly rent out/share costs with other boards communities (Minecraft?) if they're interested.

No word, I opened a ticket a month ago and still no response, doesn't stop their billing system sending me overdue demands.

I'm still on for a server, had a much needed break from Arma and am missing it, but it looks like there's only 6 of us

Me and mick reckon a mumble server 1st then move on from there, fact we not on mumble making it difficult to sort out games.

I'm still interested. We could do with a mumble server though, could always join other servers until we decided on an arma server.

The three slot limit on the test mumble is a pain in the arse.
