For some it's money, others it's prized possessions but for me it has to be the simple things like:

Relaxing on the couch with my girlfriend, Building something with my son,
be it lego, mecanno or k'nex, Making my 4 month old daughter smile or laugh,
The smell of dinner cooking, A nice hot cup of tea, Rubbing my dog,
A good interesting movie, Warm clothes from the dryer on a cold morning,
Sharing good memories with friends and relatives, A good joke,
An ice-cold Bulmers on a sunny day...

There are more things i'm sure but that's all i can think of for now,
    So what makes YOU happy?

My sons - especially in last few weeks when I went to their parent teacher meetings and every teacher told me how smart, well mannered and generally all round great guys they are. Who said teenagers are hard work? :D

My football team (although they do make me very sad, angry, despaired at times too).

A bottle of Fleurie or Chateauxneuf de pape.

    Getting my hair done.

Thinking that someday maybe, just maybe I will get the things I really want.

I was afraid to ask this ^^^^^ last night for fear of setting myself up for a
joke... like vibrators, anti-depressants* or nitrous oxide (laughing gas) etc...
But seeing as someone else is curious too, what DO you help make Barney?

*Not that making anti-depressants is a joke or anything if you REALLY
do make them but saying you DO when you DON'T would be meant as a joke!
No offence intended if that's what you do Barney... Fair play...

The 5 yr old saying "your the best mammy ever"
The near 7 yr old actually told his speech therapist "that he just wants to be like his mammy when he grows up" nearly had me in tears but happy tears

Don't apologise Kimono-girl, I've put that in my OP too. I'm sure every parent is
made happy by their little daughters or sons smiles :D

I think there would be something wrong with you if that didn't make you happy!!!
