I decided to download and install the final version today, and uninstalled it from my W7 64 bit desktop when I realised that it had screwed with my Computer Associates Internet Security Suite. All of the tabs on the CA Security Centre were blank, and the program wouldn't even update.

I also installed it on a W7 64 bit laptop and the same thing happened with the CAISS on that.:(

Ah well, just thought I'd mention it.

A reply from the horse's mouth:
As of now , Internet Explorer 9 is not fully functional with CA Security Suite, please go ahead and uninstall Internet Explorer 9 then use CA 2011 till we release the next update:

This is pathetic for a company dealing in internet security software. I would have expected them to involve themselves in testing their products during the IE9 beta stage, and make certain that any updates were done in advance of IE9's final release.:(

Note that their reply didn't mention any timespan for when their update will be available.

No, there's no real excuse for it, it has been in beta for six months. We have a vendor whose product doesn't work with IE9 and their response to our bug report was that they haven't tested the product with IE9 and had no intention to do so for a number of months.

Ridiculous carry on in this day and age.
