    Got this in an email this morning:

    When we make a mistake here at Paddy Power, not only do we hold our hands up and admit it but we also make sure you don't have to take the hit.

    A slip of a finger led to us advertising that we were paying out on the first 4 places in yesterday's Cross Country Handicap Chase at Cheltenham, instead of the 3 places it should have been. This extra place was only advertised on site for a short period before the start of the race and though we are covered by our rules, there's no way we're going to stiff you. Even if the favourite did come 4th.

    So we're happily honouring your bet, and paying out our lucky customers who had an each-way bet on Maljimar after 3:30pm.

    I actually noticed it at the time I had the bet but realised it was an error and thought no more of it. Pleasant surprise to have my ew bet paid. Credit where credit is due :)
