I noticed that Dublin Bikes have closed a few stations over the st patrick's week.
To facilitate the Saint Patrick’s Festival, several dublinbikes stations will be forced to close for periods between Monday 14 and Tuesday 22 March

    http://www.dublinbikes.ie/Magazine/News/Saint-Patrick-s-Festival-2011

    It appears on the homepage.

Unfortunately the people behind the bike scheme forgot to place a notice at any of the bike stations and on the station map page on the website.

The scheme is great but I am disappointed with the lack of notice over stations closed. ended up missing my bus over it as I cycled from central bank to dublin castle to lord edward street and finally found a place open at capel street bridge.

The closures around events seem excessive.

Stations closed at the edges of events with not many people around them or where you could walk bikes to with ease.

Seems like something which needs reviewing, and better info is needed when stations are closed.
